Q: If you could "unread" a book, which one would it be? Is it because you want to start over and experience it again for the first time? Or because it was THAT bad?
A: If I could unread any book it would probably be Thirst No.1 by Christopher Pike. I really wanted to like this book but I just really didn't like it. At all. Every time I look at it on my shelf I can't help but think about how I could have used that money for a better book. Sorry to all the fans of that series, I'm not trying to trash the book at all it just wasn't my thing.
Leave a comment and I'll definitely read it and follow back!

I actually own all of the Thirst books but have yet to read any of them, I have Heard some not so good things about them, luckily they're far down in my tbr pile.
ReplyDeleteThanks for stopping by!

Hey new follower through GFC.
ReplyDeleteI haven't read that book but I have a lot of books on my shelf where I wonder what I was thinking in buying them. It stinks.
My Feature and Follow
I haven't read these, but it's all good. We all have those books we regret reading or especially buying! I can't really think of a book at the moment that I wish I NEVER read, but I do sometimes wish I could experience certain books for the first time again...like the Harry Potter series or The Perks of Being a Wallflower, which I LOVE.

I've read Thirst and I thought the ending was so ridiculous... I didn't hate the book, but I didn't go on with the series. Thanks for sharing!

Hi. New follower. I have not read the Christopher Pike books, but I have seen them in my favorite bookstore often. I might just keep looking at them if people aren't liking them. Or borrow a copy before buying
ReplyDeleteI could never get into his books either. I tried, but...No. The beauty of it is that there are so many other books out there to try and love!

New follower here. Love the blog. I can honestly say I can't remember one that I read so bad that I wanted to rip my eyes out on, but I really loved the fever series and I wouldn't mind starting over with those. I devoured each one!
ReplyDeleteI've tried to get into Christopher Pike, but never could. Following back.
