Summary: Always in control, the meticulous and professional Salvador Moreno is thrown for a loop when the newly hired bartender Grace Zendejas suddenly invades his family’s restaurant, and infuriatingly, his every thought. For the first time in his life, Sal is fumbling. But after recovering from a few blunders he discovers his feelings for Grace run much deeper.
Things begin to heat up between him and Grace, but then the ever-perfect Sal does something even his brothers never did—screws up royally. Now he’s scrambling to cover up a mistake he knows could cost him dearly. As his relationship with Grace grows even more serious, Sal's secret is a ticking bomb, threatening to destroy the one thing he now lives and breathes for—his relationship with the love of his life—Grace.
Review: As soon as I finished Romero's story I jumped into this one. I wanted to take my time with this book, especially since it would be the last in the series but I just couldn't put it down. I stayed up til three in the morning to finish this story because I literally could not sleep because of how anxious I was about what would happen next.
From the first few pages Sal's story caught my attention. I mean the prologue alone made me nervous as hell. And as I mentioned before, I couldn't put it down. Everyone in my house was getting annoyed with me but I was so addicted and past caring. I knew something big was going to happen from the beginning. In fact it was set up that way so throughout the whole book I felt really nervous about the drama that would surely unfold. And when it did...Oh. My. God. I couldn't BELIEVE everything that went down. I felt like crying because I really wanted that 'Happily Ever After' for them and with those events it seemed impossible for them.
I really liked Sal. He's not like his brothers at all, except of course about the way he treats the women he loves. He has way more patients and definitely more life experience then they did and it showed a lot. I love his love interest Grace as well. She's exactly what Sal needs and the fact that they fell for each other pretty quickly didn't seem fake or rushed at all.
My only concern was at times I could really sense the age difference between the couple but it wasn't necessarily a bad thing. Grace is really innocent, especially when it comes to guys. And Sal is definitely not. So I was kind of upset that despite Sal knowing he was a hiding a HUGE secret that would not only break Grace's heart but also definitely end their relationship, he still has sex with Grace. I feel like that was kind of a douche move of Sal and I was really close to hating him because I mean, what kind of guy does that? Oh right, an idiot. But don't worry, Sal definitely redeems himself.
I'm so sad to see this series end but I'm glad I have them on my kindle because I'm ready to start this adventure all over again. I love the bonus story at the end about Angel and Sarah! I really missed them and while I loved getting to know all the other characters, it was Angel and Sarah that made me fall in love with this series. On the bright side there will be a spin off series called Fated and I can not wait to read Rose and Vince's story! It's been a great journey and I can't wait to see what else Elizabeth Reyes has up her sleeves.

Hmm.. I've never heard of this series before. It looks interesting :)
